This project was a very personal one for me. The artwork was created for my mother, inspired by her own mothers’ garden in the south of France. My grandmother adored her garden, and my mum inherited this passion.

These artworks were used to create two seamless repeat prints in order to make a silk headscarf for my mother. The scarf is 90 x 90 centimetres, and features a double-sided print. The artworks were also used to create a set of art prints.

Generally, my work is inspired by nature, botanical art and wildlife. My handwriting is very detailed and characterised by a colourful and eclectic style. I mainly use watercolours.
